Ms. McLafferty is joining the firm from PEAK6 Investments, L.P., where she remains responsible for all marketing, advertising, and public relations efforts across PEAK6. Ms. McLafferty joined PEAK6 in October 2009 after spending two years at Microsoft as the General Manager for MSN & Bing marketing. In her role as GM, she was responsible for the design, launch and marketing rollout of the Bing search brand, as well as all MSN US marketing efforts. Prior to Microsoft, Ms. McLafferty spent two years as the Vice President of Marketing & Sales for FTD.com, and four years at Orbitz as a Managing Director, where she was a key member of the pre-IPO launch team. Ms. McLafferty graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
